Wall and Ceiling Finish

Feature: All home surfaces to be covered with 5/8” gypsum board on 24” O.C. framing (ceilings) or 1/2” gypsum board on 16” O.C. framing (walls). Finish walls and ceilings to be thin coat plaster in a skip trowel texture. Basement stairwells are plastered as a standard. One coat Sherwin-Williams Primer and a coat of premium Sherwin-Williams interior latex paint are used over plastered interior wall surfaces.
Benefit:Compared to standard drywall technique, our veneer plaster finishing system offers harder, more durable surfaces and the unique skip trowel texture creates visual depth and intrigue.

Plastered Basement Stairwells offer added value and a finished look to a frequently viewed area of the home. Our premium Sherwin-Williams paints go on ultra-smooth and, because of reduced roller stipple, give a silky high-end appearance. The durable coating is able to withstand frequent cleaning and scrubbing. Greater application efficiency and harmony between the gypsum board and plaster is achieved by using an applicator specializing in both.
